Sammy Encarnacion
Director of Education – Premier Barber Academy
A Waukegan High graduate class of 2007, Sammy Encarnacion co-founded Premier Barber Academy in March 2024 alongside his father, Master Barber Instructor Eliezer Encarnacion. A graduate of the College of Lake County and former Chicago Police Officer, Sammy brings leadership, discipline, and a passion for education to his hometown.
As the Director of Education, Sammy is dedicated to providing a top-tier barbering program rooted in community values. At Premier, we’re a father-and-son team committed to treating every student like family and delivering the highest standard of barber education.

Eliezer Encarnacion
Lead instructor – Premier Barber Academy With 30 years of experience in the barbering industry and 15 years as an instructor, Eliezer Encarnacion brings unmatched passion and expertise to Premier Barber Academy. Recognized with awards such as "Barber Instructor of the Year", Mr. Encarnacion is dedicated to helping students grow in both skill and professionalism.
His commitment to excellence, leadership by example, and faith-driven approach make him an inspiring mentor to all. We’re proud to welcome him as our lead instructor and invite you join us in shaping the future of barbering.
